Jia Teng completed her law degree, LL.B (Hons) from University of London in the year of 2017 and thereafter obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in year 2018. She was then called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in year 2019.

Jia Teng’s areas of practices encompasses mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investments and other areas of Corporate and Commercial Law including incorporation of companies, business restructuring, directors’ responsibilities, shareholders rights and employment issues. She has also advised on Property and Real Estate, and Probate & Estate Administration related matters.

She has acted for listed and non-listed companies in variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, on both sell-side and buy-side mandates and acts for companies in funding rounds. She also advised companies on ESG governance and compliance.

She is committed to leveraging her legal knowledge to navigate business challenges, ensuring companies thrive ethically while also vigilantly protecting her clients' interests and advising them on potential risks and pitfalls.
