Ms. Rita earned her LLB (Hons) from the prestigious University of London in 2008 and has been practicing law for over 10 years. Prior to establishing her legal practice, Ms. Rita served as a Legal Advisor to several distinguished multinational corporations, including DiGi Telecommunications and MCIS Zurich.

At DiGi Telecommunications, she played a pivotal role in the contractual implementation of the company’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) laws, working closely with its parent company, Telenor in Norway. She also conducted numerous training sessions for the company’s employees and suppliers. During her tenure at MCIS Zurich, she oversaw policy underwriting and ensured the conformity of the company's Treaty obligations.

In 2010, Ms. Rita served as a Legal Officer at the Malaysian Bar, where she was responsible for the Human Rights Committee, the Intellectual Property Law Committee, and the Shipping & Admiralty Law Committee. Following this, she worked as a Legal Assistant at Gerard Lazarus & Associates, and later as a Partner at Vas & Co.

In 2017, Ms. Rita founded Rita & Co in the bustling district of Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Selangor. Her firm provided comprehensive legal services in various areas, with a particular focus on real estate transactions and civil litigation. Ms. Rita regularly represents clients in a range of transactions, including regulatory compliance, project financing, and real estate acquisitions. Her extensive experience includes conducting due diligence and advising on corporate governance matters for companies and financial institutions.

Ms. Rita's expertise in civil litigation and corporate restructuring has made her highly proficient in drafting corporate and franchise agreements that optimize advantages while mitigating risks in potential corporate disputes.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rita has been involved in complex litigation matters and has represented clients across all levels of the Malaysian legal system. She frequently appears in the lower courts, High Court, and Appellate Courts of Malaysia, with several reported cases setting legal precedents in the country.
